How Much Pascalite Should I Use?
There is no specific amount we can tell you to use, as each person is an individual and different, so the amounts will vary. You can always increase the amount at any time if you are not seeing results, or decrease the amount if you are having unwanted effects. Experiment and see what amount works best for you individually. We have found that the amount of clay used is not as important as making sure that the affected area comes into contact with Pascalite, thus a person can use smaller amounts than you would think to get good results. More is not necessarily better.
How Do I Use and/or Apply the Pascalite Clay?
This depends on what you are using the clay for. If you are making a poultice, the most popular method is to mix the powder with water (alternating small amounts of each, until the desired consistency is obtained) then apply generously to the affected area. You will want to keep this clay paste damp/wet for several hours or as long as possible, before rinsing off. Many customers have used a damp paper towel, gauze, or washcloth over the area and then wrapped it in plastic wrap or something similar. Re-apply and repeat this step as often as needed to achieve desired results. Some like to mix the Pascalite powder with other mediums such as yogurt, honey, aloe vera, coconut oil, apple cider vinegar, etc. and we encourage you to mix our product with your favorite products to get a truly outstanding overall experience. Pascalite powder can be sprinkled in the bath water, or used dry as a deodorant or body powder.
How Does it Work?
Clay is a natural live medium, which helps generate and maintain life. There are multiple varieties of different colors of clay, known by many names, each with its own properties, mineral makeup, and uses. Clay is known to possess both adsorbent and absorbent powers. The natural tendency of clay is to absorb toxins and suck the poison from an environment. Clay is negatively charged, and toxins are positively charged. Clay has the power to attract toxins (like a magnet) and stimulate the evacuation of toxic and non-useful elements. It soaks up impurities and toxins (like a sponge), allowing these to attach to the clay, and then clay acts as a catalyst to eliminate them. Clay helps your body heal itself by going to the unhealthy place where toxins and impurities are lodged, and draws them out. It seems to have the ability to know where to center itself to provide the best possible benefit. In this way, clay functions with a kind of wisdom.

How Do I Use the Clay for Cataracts?
If you plan to use the clay as a liquid solution for the eyes we suggest using the Superfine Pascalite Powder, as it is not grainy like the regular Pascalite Powder. Get a small glass of water and a small spoonful of powder (again the amount doesn't matter too much) and stir them together. Once settled after a few minutes, use the water off the top, administer to the eyes however works best for you. Some customers use an empty eye dropper, eye cup, or syringe to achieve this. When using the Superfine powder, there's no need to wait for the clay to settle; you can use the cloudy water. Keep the glass covered to protect it from air contaminants, and then you will be able to re-stir and re-use it as often as desired.
Why Does Pascalite Say External Use Only on the Label?
In the past, we have always sold Pascalite for internal use as well as external use. However, we have changed our marketing to selling Pascalite for external use only in response to involvement by the FDA. Some time ago the FDA randomly tested a small sample of Pascalite and found an amount of lead in it that they were not happy with. We have done more testing and the amounts range from only 16 ppm (.0016%) up to 24 ppm (.0024%). The lead is naturally occurring. (Natural lead is in a different form than the harmful type as in paint.) We do want to stress that in over 50+ years of operation, we have had no confirmed reports of anyone becoming ill/sick, poisoned, or injured from the internal or external use of Pascalite. We, being such a tiny company unable to fight the government, and, wanting and needing to comply, felt the only way we could keep Pascalite available to those that could benefit from it was to sell it for external use. Pascalite has not changed in any other way. How a person chooses to use it is their own choice. We sell Pascalite for external use only.
How Do I Use the Clay to Detox?
Many people take clay (Pascalite, too) for detoxing as clay adsorbs and absorbs. Clay works like a magnet and a sponge. Clay is negatively charged, and toxins – such as heavy metals – are positively charged. Clay cannot help but attract those toxins to it, they adhere to the clay; and then it all gets eliminated out of the body. Many customers use the clay in their bath water to detox their bodies from toxins. The amount used for this depends on the individual and their body’s sensitivity to the Pascalite clay. Please experiment and see what amount works best for you. If you are using it in your bath water, just sprinkle some in before you get in and wash it down the drain when you are finished. Wipe out and discard any remaining clay in the tub. Pascalite clay will not harm the pipes.
What is the Difference Between the Pascalite Powder and the Superfine Powder?
The Superfine Powder is a by-product of the regular Pascalite Powder. The only difference is the Superfine powder is very fine and has the texture of baby/talcum powder, while the regular powder has somewhat more of a grainy texture. You can use either powder for the same purposes, it is just personal preference. Our quantities of Superfine powder are limited, thus the price variance.
What is the Shelf Life on the Pascalite Clay Powder?
The Pascalite powder itself does not have a shelf life - as long as it is sealed or closed up, thus preventing air contaminants, odors, and moisture from absorbing into the clay.
The Pasca-Pak, Pasca-Balm, and Pasca-Glow that we handmake do not have any preservatives in them, so they can get a bit stale after an extended time if not used very often. However, this hasn't been reported to alter their effectiveness.
Can I Use the Clay on My Animals?
Yes! Many customers have reported the clay has immensely benefited their animals. Personally, we use the clay in our dog’s and cat’s water bowls, sprinkled dry on their food and/or in their fur, & on our horses for first aid and poultice treatments. Some use the Pasca-Glow soap for washing their animals.
What Ingredients are in the Pasca-Glow Soap?
Pascalite powder, lard, water, soy oil, coconut oil, sodium hydroxide (lye) and is scented with essential rosemary oil.

What is the Status of My Order?
Please allow us 3 - 10 business days for processing and then shipping of your order. In most cases, we do ship faster than this, but we are a very tiny business and will get the orders out as quickly as we can. If you provided an email address when you placed your order, you should receive your tracking number from USPS or UPS via email when it ships. You can also always email or call us and ask about the status of your order as well.
Why Does My Order Say Pending?
As we are a tiny company, we manually run the credit cards so you order will state it is “pending” until we have charged out your credit card. Then we will change the status to “automatically accepted”.
How are Your Shipping Rates Calculated?
Our shipping/handling rates are based on weight, and you will have to calculate the correct shipping charge from our drop-down menu during checkout. 16 oz. = 1 lb., and each one of our products has the weight in oz. next to it. For example, if you order 3 - 16 oz. bottles of Pascalite clay powder, the total oz. for your order is 48. Then simply divide 48 by 16 and you get 3 lbs. The correct shipping choice for this order would be 1+ to 4 lbs. which is $12.65.

Do You Ship Internationally?
Yes, we ship all over the world! We do have some of the international shipping/handling rates listed on the website, but if you do not see your country please email us and we will send you the rates for your order. We are working on our website and will periodically be adding more countries to the shipping rate list, so please check back.
